About Fanal Ensemble
Our Mission
Fanal Ensemble was born out of a lifelong vision to bring a holistic cultural experience to Malta and Gozo. By shining a light on Maltese talent we aim to bring out the island’s artistic triumphs starting from Maltese musicians to eventually fully Maltese compositions using a larger ensemble.
Directed by musician and conductor Jean Pierre Cassar the ensemble works with a rotating number of string musicians each masterful in their instrument
Our Pledge
The music that Jean Pierre Cassar conducts is always of the highest quality with an insistence on directing unique pieces that are uncommonly played on the island to broaden the local knowledge on culture and art. Fanal Ensemble strongly believes that the island has the talent not only to play brilliant music but also to appreciate it if its people are given the chance. The organisation hopes that through concerts explored in a different manner than the traditional audiences and future musicians will be further drawn to culture.
