Jean Pierre Cassar has been an orchestral musician for the last decade starting at only 18 years as a professional percussionist and timpanist, culminating into a Masters of Professore D'Orchestra from Parma Conservatory.
Throughout his career he has been a member of the International Youth Orchestra, the Salzburg Operetta Theatre, and held the role of 1st Percussion in the renowned Bulgarian Opera House, Ruse State Opera. In addition, Jean Pierre Cassar has often been a guest musician for the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.
Having played in legendary theatres like Carnegie Hall (New York), Berlin Philharmonic (Berlin), Musikverein (Austria), and Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow) his dream is to grow the appreciation for orchestral Music in Malta by highlighting Maltese talent and showing the historical connections of the island and music through melody.

Having obtained obtained a master’s degree at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, performed as a soloist and chamber musician with distinguished conductors and nominated by the Malta Arts Council as a finalist in the category of Artist of the Year he hopes to share his music locally not only as a musician but also as a violin and chamber tutor at the Malta School of Music to further the love for classical music in younger generations.
